About the Better Globe group

Better Globe is the name of a group of companies and organizations that want to reduce poverty in Africa by helping the poor become self-supporting, while also assisting with training and combating climate change and desertification. We believe in social entrepreneurship, and we need to be profitable so that we can create a better world by doing good.

Our group works in the following three focus areas:

Planting trees and establishing tree plantations By planting trees, we create jobs, remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, and lay the foundation for small communities. Read more about the planting of trees »

Better Globe Marketing

Better Globe Marketing is a sales company, and this is our website. We sell trees and donation packages and represent Better Globe in the global arena. We use our website to inform, educate, and promote our ideas and plans that we want to achieve.

Better Globe Forestry—Kenya and Uganda

This forest company is the parent company for our forest products companies and is responsible for planning and employing people who actually plant the trees. Better Globe Forestry also operates a 1.45-acre test and training farm in Kibwesi, Kenya, with a focus on agriculture and forestry in semidesert areas.

Child Africa—Kenya and Uganda

Child Africa is a NGO (Non-Governmental Organization) that operates schools and helps with school activities, primarily in Kenya and Uganda. Child Africa has a long history of working with children, teachers, and local communities, bringing invaluable knowledge and skills to the Better Globe Group.

Child Africa’s assistance in helping children who otherwise would not have had a chance to go to school is much appreciated. These children have no opportunities in life that we take for granted. Read more about Child Africa on their website »
